Top 32 Contestants of Miss World 2018
Miss World is the oldest running international beauty pageant. It was created in the United Kingdom by Eric Morley in 1951. Since his death in 2000, Morley’s widow, Julia Morley, has co-chaired the pageant.
The 68th edition of the Miss World pageant is being held in Sanya, China. The grand finale is on 8th os December.
Here is the 32 top finalists of Miss World 2018.
The Top 30 will now move on to the third and final stage of the competition. In this segment, contestants will wear clothing provided by Chinese designer Li Qiqi and will be judged on their modeling techniques.
Peirui MAO – China PR
Peirui MAO completed a Master’s degree and is currently the co-founder and CEO of an Education Technology start-up Company and has dreams of becoming a leader in the field of Education. She has also taken part in 10 championships in Speech in China.
Hobbies: Playing the piano, biking, hiking and has a passion for Broadway musicals having watched over 25 musicals in New York with Wicked being her favorite one

Ashley LASHLEY – Barbados
Ashley LASHLEY is currently a medical student and a Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) Envoy. She enjoys organizing community-based activities and programmes and started the first Girl’s Cricket Club in Barbados, which came about, due to her love of a wide range of sports. Her ideal dream job would be to become the United Nations, Secretary-General.
Hobbies: Playing Saxophone and the Steel Pans.

Taylah CANNON – Australia
Taylah CANNON completed a degree in Vet Nursing and would like to continue her studies and qualify as a vet. The most memorable day of her life was when she received her first pet at the age of 16 she then went on to adopt 30 animals.
Hobbies: Aerial Yoga and going for hikes. Taylah also enjoys writing poems and songs and has a special talent for Make-up Artistry.
Favorite book: ‘The Alchemist’ by Paolo Coelho.

Jéssica CARVALHO – Brazil
Jéssica CARVALHO is currently studying medicine and would like to specialize in Neurology she is also working as a model. She is interested in anything to do with medicine.
Hobbies: Singing, Playing handball and practicing bodybuilding.

Maria VASILEVICH – Belarus
After completing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics and Management, Maria VASILEVICH has continued with her studies and is the author of several Scientific works.
Hobbies: Drawing and enjoys visiting places of inspiration such as theatres and art galleries. She enjoys dancing which she has been doing since she was five and playing sports, in particular, roller-skating, cycling, and horse riding. Maria thrives on trying new hobbies and has even piloted an airplane.

Anahí HORMAZABAL – Chile
Anahí HORMAZABAL is a first-year student of Foreign Trade Engineering and also a part-time model.
Hobbies: Traveling, yoga, trekking, Zumba, fitness and Kagaya Art and has special talents for singing and dancing.

Maëva COUCKE – France
Maëva COUCKE completed a Degree in International Business and dreams of becoming an actress.

Ivana MUDNIĆ-DUJMINA – Croatia
Ivana MUDNIĆ-DUJMINA is at High School studying Tourism she is also working as a model. She has ambitions to further her studies and continue with her modeling career and had recently starred in her own documentary.
Hobbies: Sports generally but in particular Basketball, keeping a pet dog.

Christine KELLER – Germany
Christine KELLER is currently studying Theatre and the Arts at Drama School and dreams of working as a Drama Therapist she is also working as a model and volunteering in a care home where she does Yoga and reads books and plays to the residents.
Hobbies: Playing the keyboard, dancing, acting, and singing, she also likes any foods made with potatoes.

Maria LEPIDA – Greece
Maria LEPIDA Graduated High School and is currently working as a full-time model and has ambitions to study Tourism. Maria’s proudest moment was when her younger brother was born. If she could invite anybody to dinner it would be the actor Jason Statham.
Hobbies: Playing volleyball, tennis and track athletics, she also has a passion for reading and dancing.

Morgane THÉRÉSINE – Guadeloupe
Morgane THÉRÉSINE is currently a Food Science Student having completed a Degree in Biology. She would like to become a Dietician and lead projects and awareness campaigns around Nutrition. Her proudest moment was being able to donate blood to the Blood Bank as soon as she turned 18 and has been doing so ever since.
Hobbies: Singing, dancing, extreme sports.

Nunzia AMATO – Italy
Nunzia AMATO’s proudest moment was when she decided to pursue her Degree at University, which she completed in Financial Marketing. Nunzia has continued her studies and has future ambitions to complete a Law Degree and to become an Actress and Model.
Hobbies: Keeping fit, football and cycling and has a special talent for dancing.

Ah CHO – Korea
Ah CHO is a Cyber Security Engineer and is currently working as a Marketing Specialist having completed a Degree in Computer Science. She has an ambition to one day receive the Nobel Peace Prize for her work.

Kanako DATE – Japan
Kanako DATE is continuing her studies after completing a Degree in Political Science and has ambitions to become a Politician. Her proudest moment was when she was chosen as one of the top 30 students in the Nation to attend a University in China. Her special talents are Opera Singing and Traditional Japanese Style Swimming in which she competes. She is a National Champion in Japanese Poetry reciting.
Hobbies: Playing Japanese Archery and Skiing and playing traditional Japanese instruments.

Larissa PING LIEW – Malaysia
Larissa PING LIEW is a student but is currently taking a gap year and is an intern for a non-profit youth organization that focuses on community building. She also has dreams of becoming a teacher.
Hobbies: Playing netball, dancing, especially traditional and playing traditional instruments like the Sape and the Marimba.
Favorite song: ‘Where is the love?’ by Black Eyes Peas.

Vanessa PONCE DE LEON – Mexico
Vanessa PONCE DE LEON completed her Degree in International Business and is currently on the Board of Directors of a Rehab center for girls and volunteers for ‘Migrantes en el Camino’. She is a speaker for the National Youth Institute as well as working as a model and a presenter. Vanessa has qualified as an open water scuba diver.
Hobbies: Playing volleyball, painting and ultimate Frisbee.

Shrinkhala KHATIWADA – Nepal
Shrinkhala KHATIWADA has a Degree in Architecture and is currently working as an Architect. She is a National Chancellor for the International Association of Educators for World Peace and President of The One Home Foundation. Shrinkhala has aspirations to be the first female Prime Minister of Nepal.
Hobbies: Writing, reading, traveling and trekking she also composes poetry very quickly and has been writing a children’s novel.

Jessica TYSON – New Zealand
Having completed her studies, Jessica TYSON is working as a news reporter and presenter at Maori TV with plans to become an investigative reporter and producer. She also founded a Youth organization called Brave. Jessica takes part in various competitive sports and has a passion for Maori language revitalization, Maori poi dancing, and Maori martial arts.

Anita UKAH – Nigeria
After completing her degree, Anita UKAH is now working as a Medical Laboratory Scientist and hopes to continue working in this field and working as a model. She has a special talent for dancing, especially, pop, hip-hop, and traditional African. She comes from a family of nine children.

Solaris BARBA – Panama
Solaris BARBA is currently at University studying Marketing and International Business. She is also a dancer and hopes to become a professional dancer focusing on Ballet and Latin.
Hobbies: Contemporary dances like Hip-Hop and Salsa. Solaris is also passionate about boxing, running, art and history.
Favorite food: Seafood

Katarina RODRIGUEZ – Philippines
Katarina RODRIGUEZ has studied Philosophy and Business Management and has ambitions to complete a Ph.D. and become a diplomat. She is a competitive long-distance runner and a black belt in Tae-Kwan-Do.
Hobbies: Kickboxing, yoga, horse-riding, and surfing. Katerina also has a passion for ballet and playing the violin.
Favorite food: Filipino food or a really good burger.

Natalya STROEVA – Russia
Natalya STROEVA would like to complete her studies at the Russian National Research Medical University and has dreams to be either a Cosmetologist, Dermatologist or a Plastic Surgeon. Her proudest moment was when she received a Gold Medal when she graduated from school. An orphan, Natalya was brought up by her brother and aunt.

Agata BIERNAT – Poland
Having completed her Degree in Journalism, Agata BIERNAT is currently working as a fitness trainer, dancer, and model and hopes to open her own Fitness and Dance studio and continue her passion as a Dance Teacher. Her interest in dancing started when she was 7 and stretches to Pole Dancing, Hip Hop, Electro and New Style.

Ivana TRISIC – Serbia
Ivana TRISIC is currently studying Law and hopes to become an International Lawyer; she is also working as a journalist, a TV presenter, a camera operator, and an editor.
Hobbies: Photography, running, swimming, skiing, riding bicycles, volleyball and table tennis. Ivana also has a special talent for juggling and dancing.

Amaia Izar LEACHE – Spain
Amaia Izar LEACHE is studying Business Management and working as a model. Her special talents are dancing especially ballet, flamingo and contemporary and playing the violin. She has two dogs and three horses.

Thulisa KEYI – South Africa
After studying Accountancy, Thulisa KEYI is working as a Senior Accountant and would like to continue in her field and one day run her own investment company. She enjoys reading, keeping fit and performing on stage. Pasta and Lobster Thermidor are Thulisa’s favorite foods and her favorite book is ‘David and Goliath’ by Malcolm Gladwell.

Nicolene Pichapa LIMSNUKAN – Thailand
Nicolene Pichapa LIMSNUKAN is a student Majoring in Business and Administration. Her proudest moment was when she received the ‘President’s Volunteer Service Award’ from former President Barack Obama.
Hobbies: Thai Kick Boxing, swimming, acting and reading but has a special talent for Colour Guard, which involves synchronized dance movements with flags, sabers, rifles, and air blades.

Vy TRAN is currently in her first year at the University of Technology and Education. Her proudest and most memorable day was when she passed her Entrance Exams to University.
